Once data is cleaned we load it into a Custodian Database. Custodian is a proprietary program widely used for One Name Studies and is based on Microsoft Access. Normally we first load the data into an Excel Spreadsheet before transferring the data to Custodian. The following data is loaded in Custodian: England & Wales BDM Indexes Births 1837 to 2006 (8,531 entries); Marriages 1837 to 2005 (6,100 entries) ; Deaths 1837 to 2006 (5,620 entries). Included are a number of overseas BDM’s. Certificates English Birth Certificates (81 entries); English Marriage Certificates (340 entries): English Death Certificates (54 entries). Australian - 3 birth, 4 marriage and 3 death certificate. National Burial Index (1,099 entries) Parish Registers Baptisms (946 entries), Marriages (413 entries), Burials (426 entries). Census – Pre 1841(41 entries), (1841 (294 entries), 1851 (332 entries), 1861 (321 entries), 1871 (355 entries), 1881 (1,722 entries), 1891 (2,170 entries), 1901 (452 entries). Index of 1911 with 2,331 entries) Other information Adoptions, VRI Births, Baptism and Marriages, Soldiers died in Great War, Historical Directories including Electoral Rolls 2002/3/4 (2,736 entries), Newspapers (519 entries mainly The Times and Royston Crow), Photographs (67 entries), Court Records, Probate Records (1,177 entries).
